Replicated, Printed & Sleeved 8cm Mini DVD-5 Discs
Whats Included?
We will supply you with a finished 8cm Mini DVD-5 Discs, printed on-body using either silkscreen or offset litho process. Your content will be mastered and replicated with the finished discs being inserted into high quality clear sleeves.
The discs are held on the postcards with a plastic laminate layer that has an easy peel tab in the top right corner of the postcard. This means that the discs are securely fastened to the postcards and the overall thickness and weight is minimised by not having to use a foam or plastic stud to hold the disc in place.
What do I need to provide?
We require artwork to be supplied to the specification we stipulate and a master disc from which we will replicate. We can accept digital uploads of master content in .ISO and .NRG format. Otherwise, a physical master disc (CD-R, CD-ROM) can be posted to us. Artwork specs are shown below.
Full Colour On-Body Printing
Our price includes full colour on-body printing (offset litho or silkscreen printing). We will choose the optimum printing method based on the artwork you provide. Offset Litho is a premium photographic print using CMYK whereas silkscreen is the traditional method for printing pantone references.
Professional Replication
Replication is the traditional method used to produce your 8cm Mini Discs. The process consists of three main parts, Glass Mastering, Injection Molding and finallly, On-Body Printing. The Glass Master is created from the disc you provide us in DVDr format. The content of the disc you provide to us, is transferred onto a piece of pre-conditioned glass and then onto a metal stamper which is used in the injection molding machines to 'press' the discs using polycarbonate. Once the disc production is complete, the discs are moved onto the printing machines.
How do I proceed and order
From the drop down menu below select which quantity you require and click Order Now. Follow the on-screen instructions to checkout and pay for your order. At the end of the process, you will gain access to our Production Notes form, which allows you to inform us, how you will be providing the artwork and master disc for copying.
How to Provide Artwork & Data
Please post your audio/data and or artwork disc to us via courier or royal mail. Our address is confirmed in the order receipt generated by our website. NOTE Make sure, you write your order ID number clearly onto the discs you send to us.
Artwork Specification
Artwork must be provided in AI, EPS or High Resolution PDF with CMYK colour profile at a minimum of 300dpi resolution.
